Product Description
The Atlas L8 UV unit is great for treatment of single outlets, or slightly small homes where there is less demand on water use. With ultimate quality in mind, the Atlas L8 UV unit comes complete so you will have everything you need to get started.
This package is suited for applications where the peak water demand is unlikely to exceed 8l/min or 0.5m3/hr in total. The Atlas L8 UV unit provides a dosage of 30 mJ/cm² (at end of its 1 year lamp life). This unit is manufactured with treating drinking water in mind and though you can use it for an aquarium, the UV dose will be higher than you would normally need. The highly efficient ballast provides a visual display for information including remaining lamp life and total days of operation using the full colour LCD display. Its output is multi-voltage (100-240V. 50-60 Hz.) so it can be used on a mains supply or with any true sine wave generator.
The complete CE certified UV system is fully manufactured in Canada by one of the biggest companies in the UV market. Lamp changes are easily accomplished without interrupting the water flow and without needing any additional tools. Instructions for the Atlas L8 are included in the box and available as a PDF on request.
