Purolite® MB400: High-Performance Mixed Bed Resin for TDS Removal and Water Purification
Purolite® MB400 is a high-performance mixed bed resin, engineered for effective removal of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water purification systems. This resin is a general-purpose, polystyrenic gel designed for demineralization in mixed bed cartridges, and is ideal for applications requiring mineral-free water, such as in aquariums and window cleaning systems.
Comprising a gel strong acid cation exchange resin in hydrogen form and a gel Type I strong base anion exchange resin in hydroxide form, Purolite MB400 efficiently reduces TDS, producing high-purity water. This resin is suitable for use in both regenerable and non-regenerable cartridges, and can be applied in large ion exchange units as well. The typical packaging options available include 1L and 5L bags.
To prolong the life of the DI resin, it is recommended to use a softening cartridge before the DI cartridge, as the DI resin cannot be cleaned and reused. For an advanced option, consider the MB500 - a colour change resin that visually indicates when the resin needs replacement. Please note that this product is NOT suitable for consumption.
